Privacy Policy

Data you enter into calculators and the workout diary (such as body metrics, workouts, sets, and notes). By default this is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us.

Account information, if you choose to sign in — such as your email address and the authentication details managed by our identity provider.

Limited technical and usage data (such as device type, browser, and aggregate analytics) collected to keep the Service reliable and improve it.

We use information to provide and maintain the Service, to synchronize your diary across your devices when you are signed in, to authenticate you, to respond to feedback, and to monitor and improve performance and reliability. We do not sell your personal or health data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

FitMetrics Pro is local-first. When you are not signed in, your calculator inputs and diary entries are stored on your device using your browser's local storage and remain under your control.

If you sign in, your workout diary and related records are synchronized to our cloud storage so you can access them across devices. You can delete this cloud data at any time from within the app.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the Service, which may process limited data on our behalf: a cloud database and authentication provider (for account sign-in and diary sync), an email delivery provider (to send sign-in codes), a hosting and analytics provider (to serve the site and measure aggregate, privacy-respecting usage). These providers process data under their own privacy terms.

We use only the storage and cookies necessary to operate the Service, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences (like language and theme). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Locally stored data remains on your device until you clear it. Cloud-synced data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account or data, we remove the associated records from our cloud storage, subject to routine backups being cycled out.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can view and delete most of your data directly in the app. For any additional requests, contact us through the in-app feedback tool.

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us through the in-app feedback tool and we will delete it.

Some information you enter (such as weight or body measurements) may relate to your health. We treat this data with care, store it under your control or your account, and never sell it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on cloud data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
